In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our congregational leadership has made the very difficult decision to temporarily suspend all in-person gatherings, including Sunday and Wednesday worship, until at least April 5. We acknowledge that this is a painful decision. Worship is at the heart of our life together. However, at this time we believe we are called to “social distancing” for the sake of protecting the most vulnerable among us, slowing the spread of the virus so that hospitals and healthcare workers will not be stressed beyond their capacity to respond. In making this decision, we are honoring God’s commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Though we will not be gathering at church for worship, we will still worship together in creative ways. Currently, new worship videos are being shared via Pastor Stacey's youtube account (you may subscribe by searching for Stacey Nalean-Carlson at youtube.com) and on the Glenwood Lutheran Church facebook page. We welcome you to be part of the community there! You may also with to subscribe to Pastor Stacey's blog at staceynaleancarlson.com.

God’s love has been poured into our hearts. By the work of the Holy Spirit among us, may that love now overflow in mindful, generous, disciplined love for our neighbors near and far.

God’s peace be with you.

Pastor Stacey
